Our services start at a base price of R15,000 ($800, €800, or £800), which covers the foundational elements of our offerings. Beyond this, we provide three distinct service tiers, each designed to cater to different levels of business needs and goals.
For unique or specialized requirements not covered in our standard service tiers, we offer custom quotes tailored to your specific objectives. This ensures flexibility and alignment with your budget and desired outcomes.
How do you handle billing?
For our South African clients, we use PayCycle, a trusted payment platform that simplifies and streamlines billing processes. International clients have the flexibility to make payments via Swift EFT, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
We strive to make the payment process transparent and hassle-free, providing clear invoices and flexible options to suit our clients’ preferences.
Can I cancel services at any time?
Most of our contracts are structured with a minimum term of 12 months, a period we’ve found to be most effective for delivering substantial results and achieving a significant return on investment. This timeframe allows us to optimize strategies and execute campaigns for long-term success.
If you need to cancel your services, we ask for at least 30 days’ notice. Please note that if the contract’s end date hasn’t been reached, we may apply a cancellation charge.
We believe that patience and commitment are integral to achieving the best outcomes, and we communicate this openly from the start of our engagement.
What are your contract terms?
Our contracts are structured as Scope of Work (SOW) agreements and typically fall into Recurring Service Contracts.
These agreements involve a regular cadence of services, billed monthly. Each campaign begins with a consultation and kickoff meeting to discuss timeframes, and deliverables. In cases where tight deadlines must be met, we can negotiate an urgency fee to ensure timely delivery, subject to your approval.
Monthly invoices are issued seven days before the next service period, and we request payment on or before the 1st of the month to avoid delays in service.
For campaigns involving third-party platforms, such as Google Ads or social media advertising, clients are required to load payment methods directly onto those platforms.
Recurring service contracts generally have a 12-month duration, after which they convert to a month-to-month arrangement or are renewed for a further 12 month period.
How long should my commitment to DarkSky Digital be?
We typically recommend a 12-month commitment to achieve optimal results. This timeframe allows us to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and drive sustainable, long-term success. However, the ideal commitment may vary depending on your industry, competition, and project objectives.
If you’re looking for quicker results, we may recommend short-term strategies such as paid media advertising. Regardless of the timeline, our approach is always tailored to your unique needs, ensuring we maximize impact and align with your business goals.

With SEO, noticeable improvements such as increased organic traffic and keyword rankings typically take 6-9 months, as this is a long-term strategy requiring consistent effort. We generally aim to see noticeable positive growth within a 9-12 month period. Our team needs 6 months for implementation and performance management in order to assess and evaluate your strategy. After 6 months, our team is able to provide you with informed insights and recommendations to move your business towards its goals
For organic Social Media Marketing, engagement and brand visibility can improve within the first 1–2 months of implementing a strategic campaign, though audience growth and significant ROI may take longer to develop. However, similar to SEO, we generally aim to see noticeable positive growth with a 6-9 month period.
Paid Media Campaigns, on the other hand, often yield quicker results, with measurable impacts like leads, traffic, or sales becoming apparent within days to weeks after launching. However, as we cannot guarantee results within a specified timeframe, we aim to see positive growth within a 3-6 month period which allows for 1-2 months for implementation and optimisation with a further month for performance monitoring and management
